Message from the President

Akira Fujiwara, President

The year 2007 marks the 100th anniversary of the invention of plastic.
Coincidentally, it is also the 70th anniversary of our company, which has been involved in the plastic processing industry since 1937.

On the occasion of this milestone, I have been honored with the position of president of Yasojima. While pleased to be taking on this role, I am at the same time humbled by the weight of the responsibility that my new position entails.

Yasojima has chosen to set out on a new path. To ensure that we provide even more value for all our customers, we have announced the following promises:

  • We will further increase the accuracy of our products themselves.
  • We will provide products that help customers increase the functionality of their products.
  • We will provide products that help customers reduce their running costs.
  • We will develop products that are timely, well-judged, and anticipate future trends.

By honoring these promises and by positioning the achievement of social contributions through continued support of the global manufacturing industry as our common, companywide philosophy, we aim to become an indispensible corporate body worldwide.
We have adopted the slogan, "Carve out the future," as we set out on this new path.
Under this new slogan and our four promises, we eagerly await the challenges of the future
