Outline of material

The Meldin® 7000 series is a wholly aromatic polyimide that features excellent heat resistance and maintains superior mechanical strength in hot or cold temperatures. It has an intermittent service temperature of 482°C. Meldin also provides excellent performance in terms of wear resistance, creep resistance, and nonconductive properties.

Low pollution

  • Low metal ion elution
  • Low outgassing

Wear resistant

  • Self-lubricating grade (7021) has excellent load resistance and performs superbly in high speed applications.
